Jessie Hoffman

Jessie completed studies at the New York Film Academy in New York, NY majoring in their Musical Theatre program. She also received an AA Degree from Valencia College with a 4.0 GPA in December of 2022, and is currently obtaining a Bachelor's in Musical Theatre with a minor in Dance at Rollins. One of her proudest moments was being chosen as a "long lost member of The Addams Family" by the original Broadway cast of The Addams Family, which included such stars as Nathan Lane, Bebe Neuwirth, Kevin Chamberlin, Krysta Rodriguez, and Wesley Taylor. 
 

As a performer, she prides herself on being constantly referred to as a "chameleon" by the people who work with her, and has been complimented on how when she is in a show, she learns every single part so that she could jump in for any role at any time. She has even done shows where she has understudied every single role. Her favorite roles that she's played so far include Wednesday in The Addams Family, Gertrude McFuzz in Seussical, Snoopy in You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, Cathy Hiatt in The Last Five Years, Princess Fiona in Shrek, Olive in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Little Sally in Urinetown, Mary Lane in Reefer Madness, Maria in The Sound Of Music, Dorothy in The Wizard Of Oz, Audrey in Little Shop Of Horrors, and Natalie in Next To Normal.

 

As a director she has worked on such shows as Annie, The Addams Family, Young Frankenstein, Into The Woods, Hair, 13, Peter Pan, The Wizard of Oz, Alice In Wonderland, Seussical, Willy Wonka, and many musical revues she wrote and put together herself. She is known for her "out of the box thinking" when working behind the scenes, and is great directing all ages from children to adults. Jessie has also taught at various camps and children's theaters as well.
